A suspected burglar stands accused of targeting church donation boxes in Oxfordshire

Christopher Coulthard, of Keenan Drive, Bedworth, Warwickshire has been charged with possession of criminal property and five counts of burglary.

It follows a Thames Valley Police investigation by the Priority Crime Team based at Abingdon.

Coulthard,60, was charged with one count each of possession of criminal property, going equipped for a burglary, theft and five counts of burglary non-dwelling where church donation boxes were targeted.

The charges relate to incidents in Radley and Windsor, and in Surrey between June 13 and August 23 of this year.

Coulthard appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Friday (August 25), where he was remanded to appear at Oxford Crown Court on September 22.
